What Happened to Madeleine McCann: Case Solved?
This week, in the ICMAP Series 5 Finale, the boys explore one of the world’s most famous cases of a missing child as they look into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Madeleine was just 3 years old when she went missing from her family’s apartment during a holiday in the coastal resort town of Praia Da Luz, Portugal. Madeleine vanished between 21:00 and 22:00 on the night of May 3rd 2007 - the McCann family’s seventh and penultimate night on holiday. During most nights, including the night that Madeleine went missing, her parents would dine with several friends in the resort’s tapas bar (which was an 82 metre walk away from the apartment), controversially leaving their children sleeping in a room with an unlocked patio door… What new developments in the case may lead to a possible conclusion almost 15 years after Madeleine’s disappearance? Did the parents play any role in Madeleine going missing or were they simply negligent with their decisions? Which key pieces of critical evidence did the Portuguese Police not protect or consider? And did the McCann family feel that it was okay to leave their children unsupervised in an unlocked apartment? For HUNDREDS more cases (and to request your own!), visit icmap.co.uk now and sign up for free!Presented by Tom Norris & Ben CarterWritten by Ben CarterProduced by Dan J LambertEdited by Ben Bonsey Hosted on Acast. Jeffrey Dahmer: The Milwaukee Cannibal
Huge thanks to this weeks sponsors: DEADHAPPY (use our code MURDER for 3 months FREE) and HARRY'S (get your FREE trial pack, paying only £3.95 postage)This week, the ICMAP boys explore the grizzly case of ‘The Milwaukee Cannibal’ Jeffrey Dahmer. Dahmer claimed seventeen victims between 1978 and 1991 (all of whom were boys and men). His gruesome murder process often but not always included: drugging, strangulation, necrophilia, dismemberment and cannibalism before he dissolved/preserved his victim’s remains in bleaches and acids. Dahmer’s shocking crime spree would lead to him becoming one of the most infamous and notorious serial killers of all time, resulting in numerous prison interviews and numerous attempts from other inmates to take Dahmer’s life…Were absent parents to blame for Dahmer’s descent into chaos? Which significant incidents during Dahmer’s childhood seemingly changed him forever? Was there enough evidence and opportunity for the police to catch and convict him far sooner? And how did Dahmer become one of the world’s most notorious serial killers to date?Tune in and all will be revealed! The BTK Killer: Dennis Rader
This week, the ICMAP Boys explore the chilling case of Dennis Rader, also known as ‘BTK’ and ‘The BTK Killer’, (an abbreviation he gave himself for “Bind, Torture, Kill”). Rader brutally claimed ten victims throughout the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s - during which time, he sent a series of taunting letters to the police and local newspapers before seemingly vanishing from the public eye. In 2004, Rader resumed his letters after he read an article discussing the BTK murders and the killer’s potential whereabouts. Which would lead to an unbelievable series of events that resulted in Rader’s 2005 arrest…How was Rader able to evade any possible detection for four decades? Could his actions be blamed on two significant incidents during his early childhood? Why did Rader take clothing and belongings from several of his victims? And what was the unbelievable error on Rader’s part that resulted in his capture?Tune in and all will be revealed!
