Serial Killer Altemio Sanchez AKA "The Bike Path Rapist." - True Crime Documentary Serial Killer Altemio Sanchez AKA "The Bike Path Rapist"Altemio Sanchez, known as The Bike Path Rapist, terrorized western New York for over two decades. Operating primarily in the Buffalo area, he was responsible for multiple sexual assaults and at least three confirmed murders between the 1980s and early 2000s. For years, Sanchez eluded authorities despite a growing body of DNA evidence. It wasn’t until 2007 that forensic genealogy and investigative breakthroughs led to his arrest. He eventually pleaded guilty to the murders of Linda Yalem, Majane Mazur, and Joan Diver, as well as numerous rapes. His double life shocked those who knew him—Sanchez was a family man, married with children, and worked as a factory employee. His ability to blend into society while committing horrific crimes made his case particularly chilling. Altemio Sanchez, also known as the "Bike Path Rapist," terrorized the Buffalo, New York area for over three decades. Here's a breakdown of his horrific crimes: The Victims: Sanchez is known to have raped at least 9 to 15 girls and women and murdered three: Linda Yalem: A University at Buffalo student, raped and murdered in 1990. Majane Mazur: A sex worker, raped and murdered in 1992. Joan Diver: A nurse and mother of four, murdered in 2006. The Crimes: Sanchez's crimes spanned from 1975 to 2006. He typically attacked his victims near secluded bike paths, hence his nickname. His methods often involved strangulation, and he sometimes raped his victims. The Investigation: The case remained unsolved for many years, despite the efforts of investigators. DNA evidence eventually played a crucial role in linking Sanchez to the crimes. The Perpetrator: Altemio Sanchez was a seemingly ordinary man, a machinist and factory worker, married with children. He was even involved in his community, coaching his sons' basketball and baseball teams. This facade hid a dark and violent side. The Aftermath: Sanchez was arrested in 2007 and confessed to the murders. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 75 years to life in prison. His arrest led to the release of Anthony Capozzi, an innocent man who had spent 22 years in prison for a rape Sanchez had committed. This case is particularly disturbing because of the length of time Sanchez was able to commit his crimes and the contrast between his outward appearance and his brutal actions. It highlights the importance of DNA evidence in solving cold cases and the devastating impact of violence on victims and their families. Altemio Sanchez, Bike Path Rapist, Serial Killer, Buffalo, New York, Linda Yalem, Majane Mazur, Joan Diver, Rape, Murder, Strangling, DNA, Cold Case, Anthony Capozzi, Wrongful Conviction, 1975, 1990, 1992, 2006, Crime, Homicide, Sexual Assault, Justice, Forensic Science, Confession, 75 Years to Life

"He's just mad at me cause I'm not trying to f&*k": Police Bodycam of Exotic Dancer in Stolen Car

"He's just mad at me cause I'm not trying to f&*k": Police Bodycam of Exotic Dancer in Stolen Car On October 27, 2023 at around 7:40 PM Officer Joseph Fuardo with the Secaucus Police Department observed a gray colored Honda CRV swerving on the road with no lights on. As Officer Fuardo began his investigation he noted that the vehicle had a single white female occupant within. A check of the vehicle registration revealed the vehicle to be stolen out of Patterson, NJ. As Officer Fuardo prepared to conduct a felony stop on the vehicle he awaited additional backup officers. Once backup arrived a felony traffic stop was initiated. While attempting to instruct the driver to exit the vehicle, the vehicle began backing, colliding with the push bumper of Ofc. Fuardo’s police vehicle. Eventually, the driver of the vehicle, later identified as Rosemary Torres, was removed and detained as the sole occupant of the vehicle. Torres stated upon exiting the vehicle: “I didn’t know the car was stolen, he didn’t tell me it was stolen. He’s just mad at me cause I’m not trying to fuck”. Torres was secured in the rear of a police vehicle while the investigation into the recovery of the stolen vehicle was conducted. While in custody, Torres made statements to another on-scene officer that the owner of the vehicle had left the keys on the table at the strip club. Torres stated “I saw it, I took it” with regard to the vehicle keys left on the table at the strip club. Further conversation with Torres revealed that she dances at the club where the theft occurred, Sunrise Sports Go Go Strip Club in Patterson, NJ. Officer Fuardo then, in furtherance of his investigation conducted field sobriety tests on Torres in which the video shows Torres being unable to follow instructions or balance herself several times. Torres is then placed back into the rear of the police vehicle. No charges for DWI were placed against her in reference to this incident. Torres was eventually transported to the police station for processing and later remanded to the Hudson County jail for an outstanding warrant and a new charge of receiving stolen property for being in possession of the stolen vehicle. It does not appear at this time that Torres has been charged by Patterson for the actual theft of the vehicle.

"I'm pregnant with Rick Ross's baby!" | Woman Arrested at Rick Ross's Mansion

On October 14, 2021, officers with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 235-acre, 109-room mansion of William Leonard Roberts II. Roberts is better-known as the rapper "Rick Ross," and his expansive estate previously belonged to boxer Evander Holyfield before it fell into foreclosure and was purchased by Roberts. From the report of Deputy Donald Warney, lightly edited for clarity and brevity: On October 14, 2021, at approximately 3:56 pm, Lieutenant Kersey and I responded to [an address] in reference to a female trespassing on property belonging to William Roberts, AKA "Rick Ross." On my arrival, Lt. Kersey and I walked up to the pool area behind the residence where Precious Bridgeman, the trespasser, was standing next to a security guard who was also the complainant — Gary Summers. Summers advised that Roberts does not know Bridgeman and that she needed to leave the residence. Earlier that same day, Summers had asked Bridgeman to leave and advised her that she would be trespassing if she came onto the property, but she found an opening in the gate and ran through it, after which she ran to Roberts' pool and jumped in. Lt. Kersey placed Bridgeman in handcuffs. Bridgeman stated she was there for a photo shoot, that she is married to Rick Ross, that she lives at Rick Ross's house, and that she is pregnant with Rick Ross's twins. A searched of her purse turned up a small amount of marijuana. Bridgeman was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass and possession of marijuana. Stay tuned to learn what happened next.

Fake Cop Makes Traffic Stop, Gets Arrested by Real Cop

Fake Cop Makes Traffic Stop, Gets Arrested by Real Cop

Fake Cop Makes Traffic Stop, Gets Arrested by Real Cop On September 9, 2019 Brenden Wysynski was out on patrol. He had an eBay-special Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office badge, handcuffs in his car, and of course — a handgun, fortunately in a lockbox under his driver’s seat. But the 18-year-old parking garage security guard wasn’t at a job site. Wysynski was patrolling the highway. And when he “caught” a car allegedly driving 120 miles per hour using his invisible radar, Wysynski entered cool-mode, morphing his unmarked personal vehicle into a Police Impersonator Special. And then Brenden got to work, doing, well... who knows what. Shortly after contacting the speeding driver, Brenden, wearing jeans and lacking altogether anything resembling a uniform, waved at a real Albuquerque police officer who was driving by. The fake cop's wave caught the real cop's attention, and he doubled back to see what was going on. Rolling up on Wysynski, a variety of things struck the officer as highly unusual. When he ran Not-An-Officer Wysynski's 'unmarked unit' and found that it came back to Wysynski (and not to the government), the officer made contact.
