Regular Guy Friday Ep. 10: Emotions in Illness and Fearing Trap Doors

Regular Guy Friday Ep. 10: Emotions in Illness and Fearing Trap Doors

Hey Kweenz! Happy Friday! Kels & Kev did this week's RGF remotely with Kelsey being back in LA. The duo discussed the power of empathy: how it may be the best coping mechanism for today and how it could be THE key to forgiveness. Kev talked about three different Kweenz he and Maria met over the past week, each of whom had varying physical ailments and mental anxieties. Though their physical ailments differed, each woman had similar emotional issues and traumas that led to their illnesses. Kels & Kev discussed how emotions triggering disease in women is a growing epidemic due to life being harder and, ironically, being easier. They also talked about women living life in constant fear that a trap door will open or the other shoe will drop and the role this thinking has in illness. Kelsey revealed the rules involved when singing in the car when driving with Kev and the duo teased forming a band and performing for Night of a 1000 Kweens 2. Sadly, they forgot to open the show with 'Hey Kweenz.' And worse, they forgot to end it with 'Bye Betch.' However, because we are all Kweenz we know our fellow Kweenz won't hold it against us:) --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/better-together-w-maria/support

Regular Guy Friday Ep. 9: Be Aware of 'Like Minds' & Beware of 'Toxic Positivity'

Regular Guy Friday Ep. 9: Be Aware of 'Like Minds' & Beware of 'Toxic Positivity'

Hey Kweenz, we did it again.  We made it to another Friday. Kels is off to the airport for LA which led to the discussion of Rockstar friends vs. Real friends, surrounding yourself with like minded people in business and life, how every time you go on a trip you come back a different person and how you can never really go home. Kels and Kev also broke down the real dangers and downside to the notion of 'Toxic Positivity.'  Kelsey offered tips on self tanning and lip gloss while Kev teased a Night of 1000 Kweenz (hosting a yard party for 998 fellow Kweenz).  We also learned that, in life, "Losers Love Limbo" and why.  We learned how and why losers hate resolution. Perhaps most importantly, Kelsey teaches us the proper way to say bitch....we mean 'betch.'  AND how we will now open all episodes of RGF with 'Hay Kweenz' and close each one with 'Bye Betches.' --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/better-together-w-maria/support
