Ep. 2010 Giulia Stocchetti interviews Sara Pesavento | The Next Generation

Welcome to Episode 2010 in which host Giulia Stocchetti interviews Sara Pesavento of Casa Cecchin. In this episode, we're discussing Lessini Durello Spumante, a sparkling wine from Vicenza in the Veneto region. Sara and her family use the indigenous Italian grape variety called Durella to craft a sparkling wine that suits every palate. More about today’s guest Sara is the third generation of Casa Cecchin winery and she now runs the family business with her mum Roberta. However, the winery has a long tradition started in the 70's, thanks to Renato Cecchin, a civil engineer with a passion for wine. Since then, the company is dedicated to the cultivation of the vine durella, elsewhere considered only as a cutting grape and of little value.
