The Supreme Court on Friday voted unanimously to uphold a new law that would lead to a ban on the social media platform TikTok, clearing the way for the widely popular app to shutter in the U.S. as soon as January 19. The nation’s capital will host lawmakers, former presidents and foreign dignitaries for President-elect Donald Trump’s indoor inauguration, including a rare guest: China’s Vice President. Israel’s cabinet approves the ceasefire and hostage deal with Hamas. Implementation is expected to start Sunday.
