Plus, the doctor said he was pre-diabetic and pre-obese. At 26, you should be in the best shape of your life, and Logan sadly had let himself go. The doctor told Logan that if he kept doing what he was doing, he would die. It was a total wake-up call. A few days later, Logan got a gym membership and committed for the entire year. The mistake people make is burning more calories than ingested.  If you lower your dietary calories, over time, you lower your metabolic rate.  Focusing on calorie counting is a HUGE mistake. The body is not a calculator or math equation. 1,000 calories from steak vs skittles will elicit a different response.  Instead of focusing on calories, it’s more effective to: Focus on insulin sensitivity… How insulin causes fat storage. This brings me to the #1 exercise to lose belly fat… Strength training… Think of your muscle mass as sponges for glucose… The goal is not weight loss it’s fat loss..
