Clothing is a Language with Jason Jules

This week on Blamo! Extra, we talk to Jason Jules.

Jason has been a force behind the scenes in the worlds of music and fashion for a minute, working with Jamiroquai, A Bathing Ape, Paul Smith, and Drake’s (to name a few), plus his own projects under the name Garmsville. Lately, his Black Ivy: A Revolt in Style has been blowing up in the world of menswear, including earning a co-sign from Tyler, the Creator.

In our conversation, we talk about why musicians are launching brands, how we communicate through what we wear, and what Black Ivy is really about. It’s so epic, we’re crossing the whole ep over into the main Blamo feed to give a bigger taste of Extra to a wider audience.

Our Patreon support is so important for us to keep going and we have big plans - so if you dig it, please share it with a friend!
