Upon further research, reports say she was doing a U.N. conservation trip, and was injured during this work. I am humbled by Judd's talent ["Ruby in Paradise" is a fave film], and feel sadness over her harm. My voice does not communicate that very well, here. I also have mixed feelings regarding wealthy, famous white actors taking trips to the Congo, after reading "Heart of Darkness" by Conrad. So much learning, about race, gender, and power, money.
