In Episode 8, Bruce and @TheRealDrKev are joined by the renowned cardiothoracic surgeon, and diagnosed psychopath, who relished doing battle with the Grim Reaper on the bloodiest, most inhospitable fringes of life and death. Taking on cases that would have other surgeons pissing their pants, Westaby pissed in his boots – via a catheter – so he wouldn’t have to leave the operating table at crucial moments. Sometimes the surgical genius didn’t even gown up – performing operations in his rugby kit while belting out Pink Floyd in the operating theatre.
