After years of watching his dad participate in endurance adventure races, Hunter begged him to let him join in on a race. His dad looked around at all his fellow competitors and noticed there wasn't a single kid out there let alone someone even in their 20s. Dad was eventually convinced to let Hunter do a 6-hour adventure race at 7 years old!That kicked off an adventure career that spans some of the most difficult challenges in adventure racing, including many “youngest ever” records.
