Sameer Kalwani A passion for infrastructure inspired Sameer to found Element, where he oversees product strategy, design, and marketing. Previously, he was CTO & Head of Product at Piramal Sarvajal, an innovative water utility with distributed water treatment plants. His patented solutions reduced Sarvajal’s O&M costs by >60% and consumer water price by 60x. His products have been recognized with Frost & Sullivan's Enabling Technology Award of the Year and as FastCo’s Top 10 Most Innovative Products. Earlier, Sameer consulted on IT M&A at Deloitte, managed product at Apcera, finance at Goldman Sachs, and manufacturing at Visteon. Sameer holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and BS in Cognitive Psychology from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
