Understanding Revelation

The Book of Revelation is often considered difficult, but it was written to be understood.

In this Sunday night teaching message, Pastor Bill Monroe explains that much of the ability to understand Revelation is simply knowing the structure of the book. Revelation is not hidden or mysterious by design. God gave it to reveal Jesus Christ and the events of the future, and He promised a blessing to those who read it, hear it, and keep its words.

Pastor Monroe shows that when symbols appear in Revelation, their meaning is always explained either in the immediate context or elsewhere in the Bible, and that the Old Testament—especially Daniel and Ezekiel—is the key to understanding much of what John recorded.
