EP151: The Sundown Murders

In 1957, the bodies of Thyra "Sally" Bowman, her 14-year-old daughter Wendy, and a family friend, Tom Whelen, were found under a tarp in the middle of the desert landscape of the Outback in Australia. Through a nearly miraculous chain of events, a man named Raymond Bailey was arrested, tried, and eventually hanged for the triple murder. However, what if Raymond was framed by an ambitious, young detective, looking to make a name for himself? Listen to this week's episode and decide for yourself if an innocent man was hanged for a horrible crime.
