Fighting the Forced Hijab

Iranian-American journalist and activist Masih Alinejad started an online campaign against the compulsory hijab in 2014. In retaliation, the Iranian government has arrested three of her family members and most recently, attempted to kill her in New York City. Alinejad joins Andrew to talk about the repression of freedom in Iran, the Mahsa Amini protests, and the role of American tech companies.
