Jealousy and envy

Today I want to talk about jealousy and envy. I believe both are fundamental human feelings, usually associated with fear of losing someone or something. I’ve heard that some people claim to not be jealous or envious AT ALL, but I fail to believe that.

I think of myself as a moderately jealous and envious person. After all, it’s their loss if they leave me for someone else. And envious? The hot bodies? Nah, don’t want to have that. It’s too much work. People should be envious and jealous of me!

Boy, am I wrong. There’s SO MUCH to unravel. Buckle up! I’m CRIPPLED with jealousy and envy, I just never realized it.
Hi. I’m a covert narcissist. They say Narcissistic personality disorder is a lifelong mental health disorder and hard to treat, mainly because most Narcissist will not acknowledge their Narcissism and because even if they went to Therapy, there’ll be a point where they’ll start manipulating the therapist. My story is slightly different. After a traumatic event in 2021 I’ve done a lot of soul-searching, meditating and journaling. This helps me look back on all the times I felt hurt, reflect on it and realize that I was often times the one causing the pain.

If you are a victim of narcissistic abuse, this podcast might either trigger you or help you understand. I’m not a therapist, this is purely my attempt to contribute to healing.
