I'm speaking with Suzie Parkus, a relationship and communication expert. Suzie helps people to show up as the greatest version of themselves and communicate in a ways that feels natural and easy to them as well as the same for the person on the receiving end. We delve into Suzie's past as a matchmaker and discuss issues with dating today such as the lack of respect which causes people to tread more gingerly or people over amplifying who and what they are which is a hard persona to maintain. We look into identity crisis' and the effects on your mental health from being a 'social chameleon.' The way people treat us is in alignment with how we treat ourselves so it's so important to know yourself first so that you are able to know if someone is good for you. When we are open with people then we give them permission to be open too - openness breeds openness and Suzie calls it soul play.
