(What will happen to the narcissist?) It often appears like narcissists walk off into a better sunset after causing their targets pain and destruction, this is a total illusion. By the very fact of the manner in which a narcissist needs control over others and situations they end of facing many and varied collateral consequences to their actions. Good situations are abandoned, jobs are lost, reputations ruined, financial problems are all consequences of a narcissists need to maintain an illusion of success, mask preservation and they are ultimately controlled by their desperate need for control.
