In SLED Agent Investigating the Roadside Shooting — Part 2, we continue our look at the direct examination of SLED agent Ryan Kelly who responded to the roadside shooting of Alex Murdaugh in September of 2021. Through Agent Kelly’s testimony, Prosecutor Creighton Waters introduces as evidence the dramatic telephone interview recording in which the defendant confesses to arranging for Curtis Eddie Smith to shoot him and make it look like a homicide.
