According to forecasts, New York could fall in the path of another strong, drenching storm system this weekend. The subtropical system, formally named Potential Tropical Cyclone 16 by the National Hurricane Center, is projected to barrel into North Carolina early Saturday and then to curl toward New York, potentially whipping into the tristate area on Sunday.
