First it is the hardwood discussion as Anthony Davis gets a big extension as the Lakers want a star to build around for the future and Anthony Davis is that star with LeBron James having a chance to opt out after the 2023-2024 NBA Season. Then it's to the split as Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah go to the Big 12 with Colorado. Oregon and Washington join USC & UCLA to go to the B1G Conference as they'll have 18 in 2024. This leaves Cal, Stanford, Oregon State, and Washington State on an island.
