Puerto Rico is an Ongoing UFO Hotspot

Puerto Rico has a long history of UFO sightings, and repeated flaps that have become embedded into local lore giving rise to UFO sighting hotspots. In 1997 Puerto Rico experienced a significant surge in UFO sightings, an event often referred to as the "Puerto Rican UFO Flap."

This series of sightings was particularly concentrated in the towns of Lajas and Cabo Rojo, located in the southwestern part of the island. During this period, numerous residents reported seeing strange lights and unidentified flying objects in the sky, often described as having unconventional shapes and exhibiting unusual flight patterns.
