#224 - SOURCE OF THE YEAH!!!

Whether it’s the Kool-Aid man crashing through walls with refreshments, Macho Man Randy Savage snapping into Slim Jims, or James Hetfield just being the most affirmative frontman in all of metal, YEAH is the common denominator among these men of greatness. In our quest for the SOURCE OF THE YEAH, we felt obliged to produce our most positivity infused and affirmation laden episode yet, an endorsement with which we express absolute assurance, conviction, and certitude.

Throughout the history of metal, YEAH has always been (and will forever be) an affirmation of positivity. There’s pre-metal YEAHS, backwards YEAHS, accidental & hidden YEAHS, the ever elusive “YEAH YEAH” (aka “The Double YEAH”), pre & post Black Album YEAHS, the supreme & preeminent Sabbath YEAH, a single worded song title with a single worded lyric which is called (wait for it…) “YEAH”, and believe it or not, there’s even a Slayer YEAH. And oh YEAH, it’s highly likely that our “painstaking research” brought us to the potentially “spellbinding” origin point which may truly be the source of ALL the YEAHS.

Prepare to ponder the wisdom of “trading youth for wealth”, because “they’re releasing the dragons again” next year.
