30: Judith Roberts and Andrew Evans

On the 7th June 1972, 14 year old Judith Roberts set off on her bicycle from her home in Wigginton, Staffordshire. She had had a disagreement with her parents and had decided to go for a quick bike ride around the village. She set off at 5:30pm however a number of hours passed and Judith had not returned. Her parents reported her as missing and a huge search was carried out in the area. Unfortunately her body would later be found just a mile from her home. A 17 year old man named Andrew Evans would later be convicted for her murder however this conviction was not all that it seemed at the time and he would later be found innocent of the crime.
