31: The Lady of the Hills

On the 20th of September 2004, a group of walkers were travelling along the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire. They had been climbing up the Pen Y Ghent fell when they stopped for a rest next to some caves called Sell Gill Holes. This is when they noticed something odd in the stream. They looked closer and discovered that it was the body of a woman face down in the stream. This would begin an investigation into the identification of the unknown woman that had come to be known 'The Lady of the Hills'. This investigation would last 15 years before new technology and police determination cracked the case.
