In 1989, a Chart Director at Cashbox Magazine named Kevin Hughes was brutally gunned down in the middle of Nashville's famed Sixteenth Avenue --home to Music Row. An aspiring country artist and friend Sammy Sadler was also injured during the attack. With little evidence, the case went cold.
