Kathy Wong is the founder of Quest for Calm, a private online community to promote growth and healing through social learning material, guides, resources, accountability partners and much more. She is a NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health, the largest grassroots mental health organization) advocate working to bring awareness to ending the stigma of mental illness as well as working with legislation to improve mental health services in New York. She is born and raised New Yorker with a background in hospitality, sales and marketing. Kathy spent over 5 years hosting some of the hottest nightclubs in New York and Vegas (EMM Group and Caesars Entertainment.) It wasn’t until she left that career that she was able to focus on her true passion which is writing. Kathy shares how spending time with herself has allowed her to do the inner work that gave her the confidence to put herself out in the world through her passions and live her authentic self.
