It's rare that an actor inhabits a role so much that even the people closest to the real Jim Morrison were confused on whether or not it was really him. In the 1991 film by Oliver Stone Val Kilmer became the legendary lead singer of The Doors.

I was ultra stoked to talk about this film because I have a real life super fan of The Doors along for the ride, Jai! We talked about the real story of the band, the conspiracy theories, and wonder why Meg Ryan was cast as Pamela.
