Something Something about Dr. Shelley McIntosh

Dr. Shelley McIntosh is the co-founder of Child Focused Consulting Company. Dr. Maria Bhattacharjee deemed her, committed, dedicated, and disciplined. Dr. Marion Godine said she has a combination of intelligence, commitment, integrity and high expectations for the community of educators. She is the author of Mtoto House: Vision to Victory which chronicles the history of an African American Children’s Institution and Genesis II: The Re-Creation of Black People. She has written and co-written several educational articles and book chapters. She has served in the field of education as a teacher, National Youth Coordinator, University Supervisor of Student Teachers, Assistant Professor of Urban Education, Director of Field Experiences, Elementary School Principal, English Language Arts Instructional Coach, and Certified Direct Instruction Trainer.
