The studio behind the popular game series Saints Row, Volition, has been shut down. This decision comes after the negative reception of their latest game, the Saints Row reboot. The game was plagued with bugs and didn’t meet players’ expectations. As a result, the studio had to let go of their staff and close its doors. Volition had been in the gaming industry for 30 years and created other games like the Red Faction series. It is uncertain what will happen to their game franchises in the future. The studio expressed gratitude to their fans and customers for their support over the years.
