Capcom Unveils Akuma as New DLC Character for Street Fighter 6

Capcom has officially announced the addition of Akuma to Street Fighter 6 as a DLC character, set to release on May 22. This release applies to owners of either the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions or the Year 1 Character Pass and Ultimate Pass, who will gain immediate access to Akuma upon release. Additionally, Year 1 Ultimate Pass holders will receive a new stage called Enma's Hollow. The gameplay footage reveals an older Akuma retaining his signature moves such as the air fireball, dive kick, and teleport move, culminating in his dramatic Raging Demon attack, which devastatingly defeats Ryu in the showcase.
