Pacific Rim Prequel Series in Development: Exploring the Kaiju Origins

Hey, everyone! Legendary is bringing back Pacific Rim with a brand new prequel series. This one’s going to dive into the origins of the kaiju franchise, something we haven't really seen explored in depth before. The show is being developed by Eric Heisserer, the writer behind Arrival and Shadow and Bone, under a new deal with Legendary.

This could be a great chance to dig deeper into the backstory of the Pacific Rim universe and see how it all started. I think exploring the origins of the franchise is a smart move that could really add some depth to the world Guillermo del Toro created back in 2013. Stay tuned for more updates!
