Episode 136: Monique Danielle

Monique Danielle is a Yoga Educator, Trauma Survivor, Student of Trauma-Focused Experiential Therapies, and the Founder of the Vivasana Center in Naples, Florida. Monique and the Vivasana faculty offer a truly unique Psychologically-Informed™, Trauma-Aware, Residential Yoga Teacher Program which emphasizes cross-discipline collaboration and cooperation and focuses on empowering people to reach trauma survivors, people in recovery, and military vets. Monique set the organization up to offer need-based partial tuition scholarships for low-income individuals, as well as full tuition scholarships for spouses of active duty military personnel. Monique has also created and manages a successful yoga program for the Naples Shelter for Abused Women, contracts with Humana’s Corporate Wellness Division, and teaches for the county school district and government complex.
