About today’s Pizzeria: La Macardona is located in Case Nuove, a popular district not far from the station in Naples. The quality of the food has a home-cooked style. The Piccirillo family started their business after the Second World War. It is a female family tradition founded by Masardona. The fried dough is as soft as a cloud; it is tasty and fragrant and has been like this for four generations. The classic version is also served in a mini version. While the battilocchio made with marsala is flanked by a wide selection of creative fried pizzas, all topped with excellent quality ingredients and combined with balance. You will find table service in a well-organized, informal room. There is a small assorted drink list. This place offers a pleasant atmosphere that combines the wisdom of tradition with modernity.
