After graduating in sociology and modern history at University of Zurich, Alois Clemens began to study winemaking abroad, in Germany (Geisenheim University), and during an Erasmus program year in Dijon, France. He spent some training periods in the United States and France where he worked with prestigious wineries including Domaine Marquis d’Angerville, in Burgundy, among several others. From September 2013 until the end of 2015, he worked with the Oikopolis-Group in Luxembourg, which specialises in the production and sale of organic produce, and simultaneously studied for a Master’s Degree in Management for family-run businesses at the Zeppelin Universität in Germany.
