How to negotiate cheaper rent

In this Briefing we’ll find out how you negotiate a rental decrease! In some parts of the country the pandemic had a big impact on renters who are more likely to have insecure jobs.

As a renter it always feels like the landlord has the upper hand and that rent only ever goes up but that’s not the case at the moment in some of Australia’s biggest rental markets so it’s a good time to make sure you’re getting a fair deal on your rent. Leo Patterson Ross, the CEO NSW Tenants Union will talk us through how to do this.
