No longer I Who Sins?

“It is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.” (Romans 7:17)

“It is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.” (Romans 7:20)

No longer I who do it? So, is it out of my control? Is it not my responsibility? What do these statements in Romans 7 really mean?
