Springtime in Washington D.C. is a magical time. The famed cherry blossoms begin to bloom, tourists come out of their winter hiding to visit monuments and see famous museums. However, in April of 1972, something nightmarish was preying on the D.C. area locals, particularly teenage girls of color. Dubbed, The Freeway Phantom, this case remains unsolved to this day.
