This week, Martha takes the streets of Minneapolis for a walk and talk with Don Samuels, The Chief’s Advisory Council for Minneapolis Police, and Ted Williams, former Washington D.C. police detective, along with two Minneapolis residents David Opp and Lonnice Thorton. They share how the tragic death of George Floyd, and though it has brought an unprecedented opportunity for police reform, they believe defunding the police will result in the already fragile neighborhoods of Minneapolis littered with crime, violence, and civil unrest.
