Dame Caroline Dinenage MP discusses the role of government in technology

On today's podcast we celebrate International Women's Day with two female leaders. Firstly Dame Caroline Dinenage, former Minister of State for Digital and Culture in the British Parliament, talks about the need to regulate 'Big Tech' (perhaps against their will), and working with industry leaders to keep the sector in the UK as a leading force globally. She also outlines an approach to education which could see real changes to the number of young women interested in technology. Secondly we welcome Jessie Apple, Head of Financial Crime Compliance at Airwallex, to the show to discuss fraud, compliance as a tool for growth, and the red flags to look out for when criminals are trying to take advantage of our confusion in a complex world.
