Season 3: Episode 03: Amanda Byram

What a conversation I had with Amanda Byram this week. It has to go down as one of the most profound, connected conversations I’ve ever had, ever!

Do you talk yourself down? Tell yourself you’re not good enough? That you’ve put on weight, your hair is limp, your skin is bad? Have you ever found it difficult to accept a compliment or even think everyone hates you because you can’t get a text back from someone? Even if there’s a mild yes to any of those questions, this episode is for you!

Well known for being a TV presenter, Amanda and I talk about her new book The Switch, and delve into why we speak to ourselves in such a way, how we’ve been conditioned to NOT love ourselves, and she tells me how to banish these debilitating thoughts away.

This was an incredibly honest conversation that saw me divulge a lot about the inner workings of my brain and how I’ve also had to overcome obstacles.

I wish I had met Amanda earlier in life; she is a truly brilliant woman!
