Gary Robbins is a longtime beloved athlete, coach, and race director based in Chilliwack, BC. Last Thursday, UTMB and IRONMAN announced a new race in Whistler – an action that's been interpreted by many in the community as a hostile takeover of Gary's former independent race, Whistler Alpine Meadows (WAM).
