Okay. my mum accuses me for “breaking” a pair of her old scissors which had seemingly just dulled with time/use, after I followed her rules carefully for using them. To “fix” them I sharpen them as she says they won’t cut. Breaks her own rules for using them, and now won’t use them anymore because they’re “dangerously sharp”… Irony is they’re probably be safely sharp after a few uses, but hey - followed your request to the letter, and now you deal with the consequences..
