Our weekend podcast features 2 heroes that dare to speak truth to power. First John interviews freelance journalist Garrison Lovely. They discuss his cover story for The Nation magazine: "Confessions of a McKinsey Whistleblower" which is about his experience working for the consulting firm McKinsey and his struggles working on their most controversial clients, ICE and Rikers Island. Then, John welcomes Avi Loeb who is a theoretical physicist that works on astrophysics and cosmology. Loeb is the Frank B. Baird Jr. Professor of Science at Harvard University. They chat about the government releasing classified information about extraterrestrial life, the space object Oumuamua which is thought to be an alien craft, and his new book "Interstellar: The Search for Extraterrestrial Life and Our Future in the Stars".
