Locking down a second date can be VERY difficult, especially if you are looking for a long-term relationship in a sea of casual daters. As queer men, we often lead with sex, which makes it that much more difficult to be taken seriously when we are looking for a long-term relationship. It leads to consistent disappointment, ghosting, and string of one-night stands. Over time, we get frustrated and annoyed and just give in to the CASUAL dating culture, which further perpetuates the inability to find serious partners.
