"Everywhere I looked, beauty companies, magazines, and the TV were telling women that you need to look like a specific thing to be considered beautiful," Butler says on thelipbar.com, "I hated that.” We will be discussing how she quit her Wall Street job, started making lipstick in her kitchen because, because she was determined not to change the way she looked to fit into some superficial or trendy beauty standard.
