My next guest is Mariana van Zeller. She is an award-winning investigative journalist. She is the Co-Founder of Muck Media and Host & Executive Producer of Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller. She won the Dupont Award for Fusion investigation “Death by Fentanyl,” when she tracked the pharmaceutical and clandestine sources of the deadly opioid. For her report “Rape on the Reservation,” she received the prestigious Livingston Award for Young Journalists. Her documentary on prescription drug abuse and pill trafficking, “The OxyContin Express,” was honored with a Peabody Award, a Television Academy Honor, and an Emmy nomination.
