S1E10 - Managing Conservatorship

We had such a great time talking with our friend Ellie. She was one of our coworkers that made us a department where adoptees were no longer the severe minority! (A small victory for us.) Ellie's story began in the south, and she has made her way up to Minnesota. Her story is very non-traditional, and we learned about how her family evolved through hardship and she was adopted through what initially was called "a managing conservatorship." Next week we talk to her husband about his traditional adoption, and what that's meant for their relationship.
