164. Still Celebrating

Lured Up Podcast 164 Record Date - 1/27/21 Publish Date - 2/1/21 It has been another busy week in the world of Pokémon GO as we continue to prep for the Kanto: Tour! We recap our time with the Hoenn Celebration and discuss how the Collection Challenge seemed a bit easier this time around. Last weekend brought us the Mareep Incense Day which felt a bit lackluster, but gave us all the Pokémon we needed to complete the challenge. As we moved into the Johto Celebration, things became a bit more fun with the addition of Timed Research leading to an encounter with Ho-Oh. The Team GO Rocket based tasks were a challenge as they required a significant amount of battling to complete. While it felt like they finally nailed the formula, as this wraps up we are now left to wait for the Tour to arrive. Continuing with the Team GO Rocket fun, they get into the celebration with an upcoming event. This will be a great time to work on the level 45 requirements. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to TM away frustration during the event, so we will have to hold onto that move a bit longer. To keep us busy this past weekend, we had a Sneasel Special Research Day which was giving out Shinies to everyone.
