Jay Smalls was just 16 when he started DJ-ing in Northern England. At the time you were more likely to find him spinning tunes along the lines of hip-hop, rare groove, funk and new jack, rather than house and techno. But over time and as electronic music evolved, Jay found himself edging towards the house and techno we have all come to love. Now based in Sydney, Jay has made a name for himself in the local scene as one of the talents. Jay has played at some of the seminal parties in Sydney, such as SASH, Subsonic Music (festival + events), threesixty, Circoloco and Spice, and has a wealth of experience behind the decks.
