Brief: New media rules for Israeli military, Palestinian film on Oscar shortlist

As Israel’s war on Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria continues, we're coming to you on Sundays with a weekly roundup. This week: Israel attacked displaced Palestinians in Gaza. The UN said Israel continues to block aid. Israeli troops were ordered to stop posting on social media. Palestinian filmmakers have been shortlisted for an Oscar nomination.
